Again a James Wan hit!!! The Curse Of The Weeping Woman (The Curse of La Llorona) is a decently horror film. If you are horror movie lover, you will definitely like the content of the film. Film makers tried to bring up a new style of horror story that will give you goosebumps. This story is about a mother and her two children who are cursed by ghost of a woman. The movie elegantly portrays blend of anxiety with misery of losing her children forever. Linda Cardellini has played an incredible role of a strong mother, her acting is so natural that you will eventually start feeling her tension and fear of losing her children. Patricia Velásquez has also played her character so well. When she curses Linda Cardellini, you feel goosebumps. With decent number of jump scares, movie has some humor punches to break your fear and make you relax for some seconds. This movie is produced by James Wan, Gary Dauberman and Emile Gladstone. Michael Chaves has directed the movie and it definitely stand tall in The Conjuring universe. I would like to mention that it is not related to any of the movies in the Conjuring series or The Nun but it definitely gives the similar horror vibes in new ways. I would say it is a nicely written film with a strong plot in horror genre. It’s a must watch for all horror movie lovers.
